Ms. Laura Veldman

  • In 1996, I received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Taylor Univerisity, and in 2000, I received my Masters in English Education from Western Michigan University.
  • I grew up in the Detroit suburbs, so I relentlessly cheer for any team from the east side of the state.  Go, Lions!  After graduating from Taylor University, I moved to the west side of the state when I got the teaching job here at Lakeshore Middle School.  In my spare time, I love to travel, (slowly) run local 5Ks, and read a great book poolside or at the beach.
