Lancer Life

Come work in a district supported by both neighbors and local businesses. Named one of the 20 Best Places to Work in Southwest Michigan in 2019, Lakeshore Public Schools was the first school district to receive this distinguished award. Utilizing a top curriculum and the opportunity to apply for a variety of supporting grants, you can make your ultimate lesson plans come to life as a Lancer.

The Lancer Staff is committed to providing the best learning experience for our students. Administrators and teachers dedicate weekly time to professional development and attend conferences throughout the year to continuously advance their pedagogy. Every year, Lakeshore students’ accomplishments receive State level recognition from their academics, fine arts, athletic competitions, and clubs. Within minutes of vacation-worthy beaches, renowned wineries and restaurants, and events like Ironman Triathlon and the Senior PGA Golf tournament, you would be living the high life locally. We are proud of our “small town feel” where the community supports our schools.  Our Excellence Foundation raises over $500,000 annually to enrich the future of the district’s students, staff, and community.

A hometown that wears red and black, you can’t find Lakeshore on a map because it’s found in your heart.
