Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mr. Allan brings positivity and enthusiasm wherever he goes and is a familiar, welcome presence at sporting events. His encouragement and timely compliments mean a great deal and are always appreciated.
Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mr. Scaletta is frequently seen at the high school serving in many roles through the school board, Rotary Club, and the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation. His dedication to Lakeshore has not gone unnoticed. Drawing from his experience as an educator, he consistently offers wisdom, guidance, and strong support for educators and leadership while promoting what makes Lakeshore special.
Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mrs. Bigley made an immediate impact on the board by taking time to get to know the high school, its points of pride, and what makes it special. Her curiosity, warmth, educational experience, and listening ear add tremendous value to the district and help her support our work each day.
Lakeshore Board of Education Treasurer, Mr. Ott consistently supports staff through encouragement and thoughtful check-ins. He is a strong advocate for the arts and frequently attends concerts and performances to support students.We are grateful for the many ways he serves the Lakeshore community.
Lakeshore Board of Education Secretary, Mrs. VonKoenig is a tireless champion for students. Whether at board meetings or performances, she is often our students’ biggest fan and a strong advocate for the arts. Her legacy in the Lakeshore community is deeply valued, reminding us that true investment creates a lasting positive impact.
Lakeshore Board of Education Vice-President, Dr. Beckrow asks thoughtful, probing questions that help guide district work. His leadership is tried and true—thoughtful, wise, and steady. His questions during Student Support Committee presentations affirmed our direction while pushing our thinking deeper, and his commitment to building strong relationships and “getting it going—don’t quit” is deeply appreciated.

Lakeshore Board of Education President, Mrs. Wade, is a regular presence at district professional learning, gaining insight that allows her to better support staff. Her opening and closing speeches to staff draw deep connections, reflect thoughtful preparation, and help everyone feel appreciated while refocusing us on our “why.”

We had an amazing crew today! 22 Fourth graders from Hollywood Elementary School, several Key Club members from LHS, and many wonderful adult helpers came together to create 575 cookie-decorating kits for this weekend’s Christmas in the Village event happening this Saturday from 2:00–5:00 p.m. in downtown Stevensville. A huge thank-you to Chris Thompson from Mitten Insurance for sponsoring this project!

Today was the day — Thanksgiving Feast at LPS!
Our wonderful food service crew did it again and provided a delicious meal for our staff and students. We are so grateful for all they do to make this tradition special every year!
