Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mr. Allan brings positivity and enthusiasm wherever he goes and is a familiar, welcome presence at sporting events. His encouragement and timely compliments mean a great deal and are always appreciated.

Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mr. Scaletta is frequently seen at the high school serving in many roles through the school board, Rotary Club, and the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation. His dedication to Lakeshore has not gone unnoticed. Drawing from his experience as an educator, he consistently offers wisdom, guidance, and strong support for educators and leadership while promoting what makes Lakeshore special.

Lakeshore Board of Education Trustee, Mrs. Bigley made an immediate impact on the board by taking time to get to know the high school, its points of pride, and what makes it special. We had an amazing crew today! 22 Fourth graders from Hollywood Elementary School, several Key Club members from LHS, and many wonderful adult helpers came together to create 575 cookie-decorating kits for this weekend’s Christmas in the Village event happening this Saturday from 2:00–5:00 p.m. in downtown Stevensville. A huge thank-you to Chris Thompson from Mitten Insurance for sponsoring this project!

Congratulations to Lakeshore Public Schools! We’re thrilled to share that all of our schools have been recognized by Michigan’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MiMTSS) for their outstanding work supporting students’ behavior!

Our district truly stands out in Berrien County—of the 33 schools recognized county-wide across elementary, middle, and high school levels, five are LPS schools!

Here’s the recognition each school received:
Stewart Elementary – Silver Tier 1 & Silver Tier 2: Excelling in behavioral supports and school-wide MTSS implementation.
Hollywood Elementary – Bronze Tier 1: Building a strong foundation for positive student behavior.
Roosevelt Elementary – MTSS Data Utilization Award: Using data to refine and strengthen behavioral supports for all learners.
Lakeshore Middle & High Schools – MTSS Data Utilization Award: Leading the way in leveraging data to improve behavioral outcomes.
