
Today, the Bella Voce Choir and Chorale from LHS competed in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVSA) State High School Solo & Ensemble Festival at Allendale High School. Both groups delivered outstanding performances, earning the highest rating possible. They showcased their talent by performing two songs each, followed by a music sight-reading segment. Congratulations to the LHS Choirs for their exceptional achievement!

Lakeshore’s Athletic Director, Greg Younger, has been honored with the Dedicated Service Award by the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, recognizing his remarkable leadership and dedication over the past 20 years.. We welcome Jessica Bigley, the newly appointed School Board member. Jessica brings a great knowledge of education with having a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership. She is the Director of First Church Preschool. Jessica and her husband have two sons attending Lakeshore.

We are thrilled to announce that Hollywood Elementary School has been awarded a $2,500 grant for their Give Back Day projects, thanks to the Michigan Association of School Boards and the SetSeg Foundation!
This year, our amazing students are channeling their creativity and compassion towards impactful initiatives, including crafting care packages for hospitals, assembling birthday boxes for soup kitchens, bringing smiles with happy ceiling tiles, and setting up free libraries throughout the community.
